Monday, March 16, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., join Daniel Cheek (registrar for the Richard Avedon Foundation) and Becky Senf (chief curator at the Center for Creative Photography) for a special viewing of rare and seldom seen prints and ephemera showcasing Richard Avedon’s technical and creative process. Included will be dodging and burning guides for prints from Avedon’s In the American West project, original Harper’s Bazaar engraver’s prints, ephemera associated with the making of Avedon’s iconic “psychedelic” portraits of the Beatles, and more.
