The Center for Creative Photography (CCP) is the premier research collection of American photographic fine art and archives, promoting creative inquiry, dialogue, study and appreciation of photography’s enduring cultural influence. We are dedicated to expanding the history of photography and deepening an understanding of the medium. CCP holds an invaluable selection of archives, rare books and reference materials, and oral histories for use in the Volkerding Study Center.
June 2021 update:
Staff are currently temporarily unable to provide timely research or remote references services due to limited access to physical collections and a significant backlog of user requests. We will work through requests in the order in which they have been received. We thank you for your patience and understanding. Please check back for updates regarding remote reference services and information on evolving plans for support of onsite use of collections. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you are seeking to obtain copyright permission for publication use, please contact CCP’s Rights and Reproductions department at firstname.lastname@example.org for service.
