CCP Summer Series: Images in Motion- Hugo Screening

When

1 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 22, 2019

On June 22, "Images in Motion" kicks off the CCP Summer Series by bringing together the magic and the mechanics of still images, of moving images, and of where the two unexpectedly -- and sometimes expectedly -- crisscross. Co-presented by The Loft Cinema, the afternoon at the Center for Creative Photography encourages learning about image-making in relation to imagination and automation.

Between 1 and 2pm, participate in drop-in activities suitable for families of all generations, all definitions. Included will be stop-motion challenges, make-your-own zoetropes, and curatorial-led tours of the CCP's newest exhibition, A Portrait of Poetry. At 2pm, be welcomed to a screening of the film Hugo (2011, directed by Martin Scorsese).

Family-friendly snacks will be provided, or self-packed snacks are welcome in our public foyer. The CCP Summer Series is free and fantastical, could very well be your favorite summer plans ever, and no preregistration is required.
