Lecture and Poetry Reading: Matthew Zapruder

The Center for Creative Photography and The UA Poetry Center  co-present a series of poetry readings in conjunction with the exhibition A Portrait of Poetry: Photographs and Video by B. A. Van Sise.  This event features a lecture and reading by Matthew Zapruder at the Center for Creative Photography. After the reading, there will be a short Q&A and a book signing.

Matthew Zapruder’s most recent book is Why Poetry (Ecco, 2017), an impassioned call for a return to reading poetry, which the New York Times Book Review called “a roaring success.” His new collection, Father's Day, was published by Copper Canyon in Sept. 2019.
