Members' Tour of Mexican Photographers, Mexican Views at Phoenix Art Museum

Members, join us at Phoenix Art Museum for a tour of the Doris and John Norton Gallery for the Center for Creative Photography exhibition Mexican Photographers, Mexican Views led by Elizabeth Kathleen Mitchell. Elizabeth Kathleen Mitchell is the Burton and Deedee McMurtry Curator and the Director of the Curatorial Fellowship Program at the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Mitchell formerly was an Assistant Curator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where she curated the exhibition Vida y Drama: Modern Mexican Prints (2009), and she also taught courses on Mexican art at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. At the Cantor, the exhibitions she has curated include Lee Friedlander: The Cray Photographs (2013), Carleton Watkins: The Stanford Albums (2014), and American Battleground: Photographs of the Civil War, 1861–1865 (2015).
The tour will be from 4-5:00pm with an optional, cash bar happy hour gathering at PAM's Restaurant, Palette, to follow.
