We invite CCP Director's Circle, Patron, and Advocate level members to view the new exhibition at the Phoenix Art Museum Farewell Photography: The Hitachi Collection of Postwar Japanese Photographs, 1961-1989, for special lecture and insight into the curation by curator Adam Monohon. About Adam Monohon:

Adam Monohon is a scholar and curator of photography.  From 2018 to 2021, he served as Curatorial Assistant at the University of Arizona’s Center for Creative Photography (CCP). While there, he curated, co-curated, and assisted in organizing numerous exhibitions from the permanent collection, including Farewell Photography: The Hitachi Collection of Postwar Japanese Photographs, 1961-1989. Monohon has held positions at the Richard Avedon Foundation, the J. Paul Getty Museum, and the University of Washington’s Henry Art Gallery, where he currently works in the Curatorial Department.
